Kartcentrum Zwolle House Rules

House rules when visiting Kartcentrum Zwolle BV, hereafter called KCZ

1. All visitors to KCZ are obliged, regardless of whether they drive a kart or not, to comply with the provisions of these house rules.
2. All visitors are always obliged to follow the instructions given by KCZ staff.
3. KCZ will deny access to the site to persons who, in KCZ's judgment, have violated compliance with the house rules or have previously been banned from entering.
4. KCZ reserves the right at all times to refuse entry to persons or groups causing a nuisance.
5. The karts are equipped with several safety systems to promote the fun and safety of all participants and staff of KCZ.
6. The karts are equipped with an electronic remote controlled speed limiter which can slow down the karts, or even switch them off completely, when KCZ staff sees a need for it due to track safety and/or rough driving behavior.
7. Rough and/or anti-social driving and intentional collisions will be penalized at the discretion of KCZ staff. "Lost" driving time as a result of punishment, curtailment and/or in case of repeated violation; removal will never result in a refund.
8. A participant is not allowed to stop and/or leave the kart on the track during a race or session unless instructed by KCZ staff.
9. If, in your opinion, a kart is not functioning properly during a session, you must immediately re-enter the pit lane and contact a member of staff. Claims related to malfunctioning will not be considered after the end of the session in question.
10. This venue is equipped with a silent alarm, which is in direct communication with the police.
11. Detected criminal offenses will be reported to the police at all times. The persons appointed by the management of KCZ are authorized to stop and hand over the person(s) in question to the police in such cases.
12. We will always report vandalism/theft/orderly misconduct/sexual harassment to the police.
13. In setting up the site and associated areas and buildings, KCZ will take measures to promote the safety of visitors and staff.
14. Please note our 24/7 camera surveillance. Images will be recorded and used as evidence if necessary. You consent to this when entering this site.
15. KCZ processes personal data including camera images of its visitors in accordance with the Data Protection Act. These can be found on kartcentrumzwolle.nl.
16. It is NOT allowed to smoke on our grounds. Except in the designated areas.
17. It is NOT allowed to consume your own drinks and/or food on our grounds. Unless explicitly permitted by KCZ.
18. Possession and use of and trade in (soft/hard) drugs or possession of firearms is prohibited.
19. KCZ is NOT liable for loss, theft or damage of private property.
20. Making detailed photo-video or sound recordings of the karts, operational hardware and software systems is NOT allowed.
21. Making general photo, video or audio recordings of your own ride, race or group of participants is only allowed for your own use, when sharing on social media the privacy of other attendees must be respected.
22. Making photo, video or audio recordings in areas of KCZ not accessible to the general public is NOT allowed.
23. Visiting KCZ is entirely at your own risk. KCZ is NOT liable for damage and/or injury that a visitor suffers or will suffer as a result of participating in an activity or being present at one of our sites.
24. Modifying software and/or hardware, karts, personal safety equipment on loan and other facilities is NOT allowed and will result in immediate removal of the offender(s) from the premises.
25. KCZ is open to visitors of all ages, however we can NOT take responsibility for underage visitors, they must be accompanied and held responsible by an adult.
26. In order to use our services related to driving or taking a seat in a kart, anyone 13 years of age or older is required to create an account and accept the terms and conditions. No exceptions will be made to this.
27. In the event that a person under 13 years of age wishes to use our services related to driving a kart, the parent/guardian/escort must create an account and accept the terms and conditions, even if they do not wish to use our services themselves. No exceptions will be made for this.
28. We have several minimum height limits for the use of our karts to ensure the optimal use and safety of the driver and passengers, NO exceptions will be made.
29. KCZ distinguishes between intentional and unintentional damage. Intentional damage will be recovered from the user. We will recover 100% of the damage suffered from the perpetrator.
30. We will NOT serve alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18. We do NOT serve alcohol to persons over 18 years old if they still want to drive, only after the last race or session we serve alcohol.
31. Driving and/or sitting in a kart is NOT allowed when the participant is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. When in doubt, KCZ reserves the right to have a person blow on the available alcohol tester, or to refuse a person altogether.
32. Persons under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs may be denied access or must leave the KCZ site at the direction of the staff.
33. KCZ makes photo, video and audio recordings for its own social media, marketing and promotion. You agree to this when entering our site; if you object, you must notify the staff.
34. KCZ reserves the right to make changes to these house rules. Visitors are hereby encouraged to regularly review KCZ's house rules themselves for changes.
